Solveig Hake, Flensburg, Germany (OnLine Language Trainer Course participant) I have thoroughly enjoyed working on this OLLT course and I have felt very happy to experience the uniting element created by collaborative online work. Throughout the [OnLine Language Trainer] course I was supported by my peers and my tutors. Our tutors kept in the background when this was appropriate, invisibly monitoring our work or giving full support when this seemed necessary. They were always ready to answer our questions, always competently dealt with any problems we had, always supported us with their sympathetic comments or guided us with critical remarks. We were given interesting and challenging tasks to work on. I enjoyed the experience of learning with CSCL, because the collaborative work heightened and intensified the process of discussing new ideas and developing new concepts. Everything was considered and reconsidered from different angles in our discussions and chats. I feel this led to a high level of productivity and creativity. Before I started in this course, I never thought such a productive and highly communicative kind of work would be possible online.
