Margarete Managó, Ronnenberg, Niedersachsen, Germany (OnLine Trainer Course participant) It was a very interesting experience for me, who so far had done all learning from books and face to face teaching. I was surprised how easy communication with the other participants was and how well personal contacts developed. By positive response my self esteem concerning my ability to learn  and handle tasks was raised. The advantage is that I can work both from home and from the office at any time I like and do so at my own pace. I have enough time to reflect the issues and also, by reading the others' contributions I feel inspired to reflect and comment their ideas. So the learning results are better than in f2f. I find that learning this way I was led to deeper reflection and found my peers' comments on my work very supportive. Tutor support is vital and in this case it was excellent in that it was quick and profound so that it really helped me. The way of receiving personal tutoring "in private" was a very positive experience. I found I could trust and rely on my tutors.
