It aims to enhance the confidence and abilities of these managers/supervisors enabling them to contribute significantly to the effectiveness of their organisations.
This syllabus is designed to meet the underpinning knowledge requirement
of the British Level 4 N/SVQ standards and we will gain accreditation by an QCA (The British Qualifications & Curriculum Authority) approved insttitution, if required.

Underpinning knowledge includes information, techniques and processes. The design of this syllabus assumes previous managerial experience and knowledge.

How it is Delivered

In this programme we harness the best of the traditional face-to-face training methods with new and innovative online collaborative learning methods.
There will be a total of six days of traditional training room based delivery - each day delivered at an appropriate point in the programme.
This will be supplemented by online learning in the Abacus Virtual College, powered by FirstClass collaborative software (www.opentext.com). This closely replicates what takes place in a traditional classroom. It features many of the benefits whilst minimising the disadvantages.

To help them make best use of the Abacus Virtual College conferencing facilities all users have access to our User Tutorial. This takes them through a series of tasks through which they learn to effectively use the main features of the software.
